I have always been an animal lover, particularly dogs and horses for which I am lucky enough to have both in my life. Boris was where it all started in Dalmatians and will always be the 'stamp' that I admire, although he is one of the few 'Konavlje' dogs left I will always aspire to the hard work and solid foundations that Monica Davidson set in her 'type'.

All my dogs have enriched my life beyond doubt, each one teaching me more about the canine mind and introducing me to new disciplines and social circles. They have not only enriched my life but I am proud to say have touched many hearts throughout their lifetime.

It is down to my dogs that my passion is now also my proffession as a Canine Behaviourist and Trainer, thanks to Fenn who took me through all my practical exams with flying colours and also helps me now to rehabilitate nervous and aggressive dogs through her trust and understanding of what is required.

I love to present my dogs in the show ring because in me is a very proud person, proud that my dogs are such true examples. This is strictly selfish as my dogs love much more than looking pretty, Dalmatians are such an intelligent breed with great capacity to take on many disciplines. Boris ventured into Obedience and Agility, followed by Fenn who upped the standard and ventured herself into Heelwork to Music and Carriage Dog Trials and now Tegan who is training in Agility and Carriage Dog Trials has ventured into a Working Dog's Sport of Working Trials. Peanut is my first non-spotty, she has attitude and great presence for one so small and without doubt will not be far behind the Dal's!

As a child I've grown up with dogs and first tried my hand at showing and pet obedience with the family's Cocker Spaniel, 'Honey'. I took this a step further with 'Poppy' my Labrador x Collie training and competing in agility.
 
It was love at first site that led me into the Dalmatian world, I met Boris through the agility circuit and knew I needed one of his puppies. Travis was the result, shortly followed by Erin, Mia and finally Rodney. It is now with Rebecca that I aspire towards the standards that were set by Monica Davidson within the breed.
 
The dogs keep Mathew and I on our toes as each loves a different discipline; Travis - Carriage Dog Trials, Mia - Agility, Erin - Showing and trust Rodney - he loves it all!

Before meeting Donna I was non-dog owner, now I'm up to my ears in dogs!! Rodney is my first and has taken me into the show ring and also into Heelwork to Music, Agility and now the Carriage Dog Trials.
